Pretty much the place for leveled-up breakfast food in Fells Point. Homemade stuff includes tall, tender biscuits, intensely fruity jam, and very good sausage. Most dishes come with the amazing hash browns. The place is tiny and there's always a wait weekend days, so arrive very early or order to go.
"This Euro-style neighborhood cafe serves the business and court crowd by day, and is a full-blown restaurant at night. Featuring seafood, paninis, vegetarian and sweets. During the live music in the evenings, you can find the local college students and the nearby residents using the wifi, dining with a date on the deck, and of course french pressing their coffee."
This coffeehouse/cafe near Campden Yards caters to both two- and four-legged customers. The spot's wi-fi wired and offers muffins, bagels, pasties, cookies, cakes and coffee by the pound, in addition to hot and cold beverages.
"A new cafe opened in Overlea/Fullerton in the Beltway Plaza just south of the beltway on Belair Road. The Charm City Cafe serves the best sandwiches and panini's in the area. There is an exciting and creative menu that includes great soups and Zeke's cofee. It's locally roasted and better than the routine chain stores. Try the Canton Smoke, it includes smoked turkey, cheddar cheese, homemade corn salsa, avacado, tomato, and homemade chipotle mayo. The portions are more than generous. The cafe offers desserts, specialty coffee drinks and breakfast for the early risers. Free Wi-Fi is available. Catering is also available. Rent the meeting room in the back or the entire cafe for your business or staff meeting, home show, seminmar or club meeting or birthday party."
"Chesapeake Gardens specializes in natural and organic foods at affordable prices. Our salads are made with organic produce we purchase from local farms, and our soups contain signature, made-from-scratch broths. Try our soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch, or take them home for dinner! We also offer catering or bulk purchases for your family, business or next group event."
"Hickory Smoked Beef, Southern Pulled Pork, Apple Wood Smoked Ribs, Subs, Salads, Milkshakes, Angus Burgers, and Home of The 5LB Fat Boy Burger."
"Super cool coffee shop in the old firehouse on O'Donnell Sq in Canton. Great cozy ambiance, unbelieveable gourmet desserts, pies, cakes, ice cream. Homemade breakfast and lunch sandwiches & salads. Free wi-fi."
Good friendly atmosphere, outstanding over stuffed deli sandwiches and hot foods for both lunch and dinner. Excellent selection of cheeses and freshly baked breads baked on site daily. Featuring a salad & soup bar, and a new coffee/tea station offering a selection of gourmet coffee and tea. Also serving wine, liquor, and beer.
The tables are wobbly and the specials are hit-or-miss (yes on lasagna, no on quiche), but there's wireless internet and the salads and baked goods are always terrific. Make a small meal of the Caesar salad and a big chocolate-chip cookie at this cozy Roland Park coffeehouse and be very happy. The sandwiches and wraps are consistently good if not standouts. Open early for breakfast, but decline adding egg or sausage to your bagel. Do get a muffin or a scone. Better yet, go on Sunday for brunch featuring very nice omelets and memorable home fries.
Breakfast- and lunch-only restaurant chain based in Bradenton, Fla.
It's tough to nail down a place as eclectic as Golden West Café. The place where New Mexico meets the Far East has a whole lot of thrift-store paintings on the walls and menus that arrive in old record album covers, with food that ranges from Frito pie to warm Vietnamese noodle salad (aka the Mental Oriental). Weekend breakfast-time waits can be long, but are worth it--the kitchen churns out righteous huevos rancheros and hot cakes (three crucial words: real maple syrup), though our perennial favorite is the blueberry Bismarck. (“If butter offends you, do not order this,” the menu intones.) Lunch and dinner bring burgers, green chile soup, and other Southwestern treats, plus amazing homemade layer cake for dessert. Best of all, the Golden West's addition of a bar means, at long last, margaritas with that quesadilla.
Downtown diner used as a set for numerous Barry Levinson films, most notably "Diner."
