  • "E" The R&B Hip-Hop Rockstar

"R&B Hip-Hop Soul artist from Washington, DC by way of West Philly that delivers a high energy performance pulling from musical influences like Micheal Jackson, Prince, Jay -Z, and Ne-Yo just to name a few, with an inter-changeable set to fit any venue complete with a spoken word artist, dancers , Dj and a live band, his sound is grown and sexy with a teen sensibility."

  • ...soihadto...

If any one thing brought the members of ...soihadto... together, it's the belief that music isn't simply meant to be listened to, it's to be experienced. Rahn, Duff, Honus and Yungwirth fuel their performances with a love for the pure, immersive sound of performing live. The ...soihadto... story began in 2006 in Baltimore, Maryland. By combining a variety of influences from indie to punk to hardcore to soul-funk and an incomparable melodic approach, the sound of ...soihadto... is as varied and unique as their rapidly growing fan-base. The concept for the bands debut EP was simple: they wanted it to be less of a traditional album, and more of a personal invitation to feel and experience a live performance. The EP is a spontaneous, yet highly kinetic performance, and is the closest you can get to being on stage with the band. The band recorded their upcoming album at the Magpie Cage Studio with producer/engineer J. Robbins. While ...soihadto... have just started their journey, the combination of their unique musical stylings and the furious energy of their live performances have made them a rising band to watch.

  • 9 Mile Roots

"9MR is a band that slashes through the mold of normality. When one of the 6 members has a song or a riff idea, it goes through the 9MR filter; it gets tweeked, it gets shredded, it gets edgier or louder, sometimes it gets chopped completely, but it will always jump out the box as a killer groove with a unanimous stamp of approval. The sound created by 9MR comes from a number of influences. They are constantly striving to find that delicate blend of reggae and rock where the music just floats on it’s own. The sound of 9MR has been compared to Sublime and Reel Big Fish with drops of Marley and John Browns Body, and the whimsy of Cake and Bare Naked Ladies. 9 Mile Roots hails from the Baltimore area and is always up for playing the dock bars, the festivals, the dive bars, and even the private party."

  • Aerport Rocking Chairs

"Aerport Rocking Chairs music takes influence from various styles, including rock n roll, jazz, funk, bluegrass, blues, and surprisingly, jungle. The drummer, Scott Shapiro, is an accomplished DJ spinning house/intelligent jungle for the last 10 years. Shapiro also has long standing London based record contract for his original jungle tracks. His back beat has lead this band to explore sounds unheard of in a rock band. He can also be heard singing some of the covers during live shows. Scott Sherr is the acoustic guitarist and lead singer with multiple credentials from his days at UCLA. His voice seems to get better with every gig and every song he writes. Its deep, rich tones with a raspy air are unique unto himself. The self professed driver of the bus, otherwise known as the bassist, is Joe Scalea. Scaleas style is as varied as his influences, building a sound that'll keep you moving and knock you over, if youre not careful. Rounding out the band is the lead guitarist, Dan Gohzansky, whos roots are purist American rock n roll. His lead style has been shaped by everything from the jazz and blues greats of the fifties, to the newest independents on the New York and Portland music scene. From clean to crunch, Gohzanksy is truly a versatile lead guitarist."
