Witness the fluffy, puffy, fresh-baked pita bread that accompanies the silky, garlic-scented baba ghanouj, tender schwarmas, and other Middle Eastern specialties, or the delectably crispy-crusted pizzas. Each of Amer's individually named flavors of pizza ventures far beyond boring tomato sauce and cheese; one favorite is the piquant Dahb, made with tangy marinated eggplant, roasted red peppers, pickled peppers, sun-dried tomatoes and lots of garlic. Add belly dancers every Friday and Saturday night and the house policy of letting kids make their own pizzas and you've got a recipe for fun. BYOB.

Azul 17 specializes in contemporary authentic Mexican cuisine which essentially means that our recipes are made from scratch staying true to the authentic flavors of Mexico and our Executive Chef, Damian Portuguez, prepares dishes using the latest culinary techniques. We are proud of our vibrant menu and guarantee that you will find many unique Mexican dishes at Azul 17 that you will not find at your garden variety tex-mex restaurant. Some of the contemporary cuisine you will find on the menu include a variety of tableside prepared guacamoles, sushi grade ceviches (citrus marinated seafood cocktails) and delectable small plates served family style. They are complimented by the authentic flavors and original recipes that Chef Damian learned from his grandmother in Mexico. Just like you would find in his grandmothers kitchen our empanadas, tamales, hand-pressed mini tortillas and desserts are made fresh daily in house.
Why Azul 17? “Azul” in English means “blue” which is the color of the Agave plant, the main source of Tequila and “17” is the owner’s life-long lucky number. Azul 17 is the vision of Owner, Julio Soto, a Cuban American and his wife, Lily Soto, who is from the tequila region of Jalisco, Mexico. Their vision has come to life as they incorporate their appreciation for culture and exceptional tastes in food, tequila, fine wines, design and music to create the ultimate dining destination. As true entrepreneurs this is not their first business venture however it is their first personally owned restaurant. For the past 10 years Julio & Lily have worked with other Mexican restaurants to gain experience and prepare for the opening of their own restaurant. They have owned a country western apparel store and still operate Lily's Latin Market on Dobbin Road in Columbia. They have always prided themselves in only using the freshest ingredients and quality products. The Soto's look forward to exposing and educating their guests about the cultivating and distilling of their collection of over 100 premium tequilas. You will find the number "17" throughout our offering, starting with our 17 fresh hand squeezed margaritas & international cocktails. Brick Oven Pizza is so proud of its wood-burning stove and old-school baking method that it named itself after it, but you're gonna be all about the almost infinite kinds of pizza you can dream up by combining its 53-plus toppings options. Or just opt for one of its house specialties: go cheesy (the mozzarella, ricotta, provolone, Romano, fontina, and Gorgonzola Lucky 7 White Cheese), go traditional (the mozzarella and fresh basil Margarite Lisa), or just go nutty (the barbecue chicken and shrimp).

During the live music in the evenings, you can find the local college students and the nearby residents using the wifi, dining with a date on the deck, and of course french pressing their coffee."
This coffeehouse/cafe near Campden Yards caters to both two- and four-legged customers. The spot's wi-fi wired and offers muffins, bagels, pasties, cookies, cakes and coffee by the pound, in addition to hot and cold beverages.
"Award-winning family owned fast food carry-out, well-known for its huge cheese steak subs. More than twenty varieties of subs available and other specialty items. After over fifty years in Logan Village in Dundalk, the family has sold and moved its operations to the Captain Harvey's Submarines location at 1543 Merritt Boulevard in the Danville Square Shopping Center. They now offer home delivery, workplace delivery, and new menu items to compliment the huge cheese steaks including wraps of all kinds and 'Two Fork Cakes,' delcious cakes whose slices are so big, you need two forks to eat them."
Two different dining rooms housed in a boat structured building offer an eclectic variety of food. One space features a diner atmosphere while the other requires appropriate dress and the menu items are more pricey.
Captain Larry's serves up their famous Crab cakes, fish sandwiches, conch fritters, burgers, tacos, and other pub fare at reasonable prices making this cash-only joint with a nautical theme a must-stop along Fort Avenue. The daily specials--like a pound of shrimp and a pitcher of domestic beer for $13 on Thursdays--are even easier on the wallet.
Casual waterfront restaurant specializing in delicious housemade American dishes, seafood, steaks, burgers, and more. Beautiful sunsets all year round. Cozy fireplace in the main dining room. Come by boat in the summer and sit on our deck directly on Dark Head Creek. Both adults and kids enjoy feeding our mallard and mandarin ducks. Brunch will be available starting Spring 2006.
A work-in-progress worth watching. The kitchen here can soar: A pistachio-encrusted rack of lamb is stellar, as is a poblano-encrusted chicken breast. If you had a magic wand, though, you'd do something about the general ambiance, which was a bit stiff when we last visited. The cool-cat downstairs bar has caught on and may buoy up the dining potential.
