Folks who've been reading these inky pages for a few years will recall the days when Tim Kreider's funny, scabrous, now "retired" comic The Pain, When Will It End? was printed (often too small) herein. Now the final years of Pain have been collected along with accompanying essays in a schmancy new Fantagraphics book titled Twilight of the Assholes. Tim shows up, hangs out, and signs copies of the new slab at Atomic Books (co-owned by erstwhile CP contributor Benn Ray). (Lee Gardner)
