Fear not, this production has nothing to do with holiday cheer. Maryland native Paula Vogel's play tackles some doozies, including terminal illness and infidelity, all in the context of a family road trip. In the words of the press release, it "unearths the lifelong effects of trauma and sexual alienation through the use of Bunraku-inspired puppetry."
