Organized by UMBC’s CAVC and curated by Niels Van Tomme, director of arts and media at Washington, D.C.’s Provisions Learning Project, Where Do We Migrate To? offers a multimedia exploration of people’s movements around the globe, through displacement, exile, immigration, etc. Featuring an international roster of artists and collectives—including video artist Julika Rudelius, French collective Claire Fontaine, and the potent Xaviera Simmons—Migrate includes an accompanying film/video program and will eventually travel through November 2013.
