We've been imbibing Pikesville Rye for years and recommending it to anybody who will listen, and now "the hottest adult beverage in the market today" will have its own special tasting area at this year's Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Festival (the fifth annual pig-out), and nothing goes better with too much rye whiskey than a whole hog, featured tonight for the pickin' along with 60 kinds of craft beer and 40 different bourbons for the swilling, including some super-crazy high-end bourbon you might not ever get near again without a letter of credit from one of the thieving banks we just bailed out. Plus, you can take the Light Rail to this thing, which means you can enjoy the fine beers and bourbles without the chance of encountering Officer Friendly behind the wheel. Also: Cornhole. Also-also: Outdoor cigar tent. Also-also-also: A BBQ bean-eating contest and a Daisy Duke contest on Saturday with prizes of $100 each, and we hope the Dukes contest is before the beans, if you catch our drift.
