Run of the Mill Theater performs their iconic series.
After two weeks of wading through blind readings, Run of the Mill Theater has made its final selection of plays to be performed as part of its annual series, Variations on. . . . As this year’s name suggests, the notion of disorder is the theme, and with Baltimoreans being the source of inspiration for the plays, the performance is bound to live up to it. What’s most intriguing about the show is how these local muses led to the creation of these plays, which range from Matthew Smith’s Pastoral Smut to Laura Merrill’s The Great Unspeakable Tragedy of the Poorly Made Soup. College students can take advantage of a special “college night” preview performance tonight offered at a $5 discount. (Christina McDonald)
