Artemisia Gentileschi, a woman like that Regional Film Premiere
Don’t miss Baltimore’s premiere screening of "a woman like that" by award-winning filmmaker Ellen Weissbrod. This dazzling bio about Artemisia Gentileschi, the talented 17th century artist whose only limitation seemed tied to how women were perceived, is brilliantly juxtaposed with the filmmaker's own revelations during an obsessive journey to find the true meaning of "carpe diem." The filmmakers will briefly introduce the film, followed by a Q&A after the screening. Before the film, join at 6:30 for "Elvis!" hypertalk by Gary Vikan, Director, the Walters Art Museum.
