Concurrent with the Maryland Film Festival, Videopolis returns to the Metro Gallery for its fourth year, showcasing local and avant-garde work with the moving image that hasn't always found its way into the festival tradition. This year, the festival includes performances, shorts of multiple genres, installations, and a panel of local filmmakers discussing and screening music videos they have made. Best of all, the entire event is completely free. (Jenn Ladd)
