OK, we know what you’re thinking: Why is Baltimore’s Finest Alternative Weekly writing about a “sport” for rich assholes? Well, as we’re neither rich nor assholes (um, right?), let us tell you that playing golf can actually be a lot of fun and that there are several great urban oasises in Baltimore where you can play it on the cheap. Think Clifton Park, which features fantastic views overlooking the city, or Mount Pleasant, a course that hosted professional tournaments in the ’50s and ’60s. Whether you’re just starting out or have been playing for most of your life, this expo, featuring more than 100 vendors, will have the clubs and equipment you need. (Brandon Weigel)
