Remember when the Orioles were absolutely dreadful for 15 years? We sure do. Brook Fordyce, Daniel Cabrera, Sidney Ponson. It was a helluva run of mediocrity. But last year the scrappy, Buck Showalter-led O’s battled their way through nail-biting games and extra-innings heroics to amass 93 wins and enter the postseason for the first time since 1997. With the Toronto Blue Jays becoming a juggernaut, the Boston Red Sox retooling, and the Orioles doing little else besides bringing back left fielder Nate McLouth, it seems, we hate to say, unlikely the 2013 season will be as magical as the last. No matter, this is still a team Baltimore can get behind, and there’s no better place for that than Fan Fest. Autograph vouchers may be sold out, but you can still get your picture taken with your favorite player, participate in Q&A forums with players and the front office, shop for team merch, buy tickets for the upcoming season, and more.
