Hedonism is alive and well at the Timonium Fairgrounds, where crispy bacon and sauce-slathered barbecue converge with bourbon, the caramel-colored nectar of the editors here at Baltimore’s Lushest Weekly. Entire succulent pigs will be roasted; all manner of meat—brisket, ribs, chicken, and sausage—will be served up; a “BBQ Babe Contest” will be held. Sadly, food is sold a la carte. But you can clear out your arteries with unlimited samplings of beer and bourbon (60 and 40 varieties available, respectively). A cigar tent will provide the olfactory entertainment for the evening, and some rock and bluegrass bands will be there too. Not recommended for vegetarians, teetotalers, or children (though kids under 12 are free!). (Jenn Ladd)
