The Ottobar rocks nightly with local and national bands ranging from hard-core, punk, and art rock to rockabilly, acoustic, and all ages shows. Nights without a booked band reach entertainment heights with special events, DJ dance parties, performance art, and karaoke.
The disturbing imagery of Clive Barker’s feature directorial debut put an indelible mark on our childhood. Hellraiser (pictured) kept us scared of the dark until our teen years, and we were absolutely terrified of the Cenobites, led by the iconic Pinhead, and were certain that he was going to find his way through some transdimensional loophole just to tear us apart for the pure pleasure of it (not that it would have stopped us from wearing out the magnetic tape on our ill-gotten, bootleg VHS copy of the film). Pizza Party After Dark presents both this classic and the monster-filled Nightbreed as part of a creepy double feature accompanied by free pizza, beer, and some killer T-shirts inspired by each film.
