An indoors festival featuring The Bald Mountain Band, The High Strung Band, Charm City Limits, heavy seas beer, and food.
With the Heavy Seas Hops and Grass Festival, the local brewery runs way out ahead of the competition on the legalized weed thing, because we all know there is no better combo than a nice IPA along with a . . . oops. Nope. Not that kind of grass. It’s not quite legal yet, so forget all of that. Heavy Seas presumably has no intention of ever doing anything illegal or even diversifying into other intoxicants. So as I was saying, there is no better legal combination than IPA, bluegrass music, and South Carolina barbecue. Heavy Seas is brewing up some special casks for the occasion, and there will be music by Bald Mountain, High Strung, and Charm City Limits. Beers’ll run you $3, with the first one free, which ain’t a bad price at all. (Baynard Woods)
