The Irish fare in this very handsome new gathering spot is consistently hearty and wholesome (a spicy shepherd's pie, fresh-tasting fish and chips), and the staff's good manners feel too genuine to be a put-on. Consider the live music either a bonus or a negative, as you like it.

The second annual Baltimore Irish Traditional Music Festival, directed by nationally-recognized flute player Laura Byrne, will take place at venues around the city. The event features many world-class performers including fiddlers Jesse Smith and Rose Conway Flanagan, and accorionist Billy McComiskey.
