It's the place to find comics and all the fun flotsam that goes with it.
Everybody here at Baltimore’s The City That Reads Paper is always happy to see Free Comic Book Day come up on the calendar, because that means people still know how to read, or at least look at the pictures, and when we checked the Free Comic Book Day dot-com and punched in our ZIP code, we found 10 places listed as participating sites, namely: Alliance Comics, Alternate Worlds, Amazing Spiral, Atomic Books, Canton Games, Chuck’s Comics, Collectors Corner, Geppi’s Entertainment Museum, Legends Games and Comics, and Shenanigans Toy Shop. If your fave comic book place isn’t listed, you should call ’em and see what’s up with that. If you don’t buy comic books, today is the day to get one free and see what all the fuss is about. All day, many places comic books are sold, and if they don’t participate, you should protest them before going to a place where you can get a free comic book, freecomicbookday.com.
