The well-known William Shakespeare play will be performed. There will be a pay what you can preview on Thursday, May 16th.
After months of saying “Out, damned spot! out, I say!—One: two: why, then, ’tis time to do’t,” the Chicken Box is clean and ready for the Annex Theater. So now, “When the hurlyburly’s done,” the recently peripatetic troupe settles in “There to meet with Macbeth.” Or to perform Shakespeare’s classic play bearing his name, at least. We’re not sure yet what the Annex has in mind, but we know that their experimental streak “Sticks deeper, grows with more pernicious root than summer-seeming lust,” and so we can’t wait to see them shake that spear. “Where the place?” Through June 9.
